My Tails of Sacramento session are finally coming to a close (only 3 more left!), and that means I'm this close to taking the book to press. This project has been an absolute whirlwind, but I can't imagine how different my business would be without it.

9 months ago, I started planning this project. We were 3 months into lockdown during a global pandemic - that's 3 months without bookings, 3 months unable to hang out with my amazing clients, 3 months without getting to play with puppies. My area was starting to lift some restrictions, especially for businesses offering services outdoors, and I was looking for a way to not only revitalize my business but to also help out one of my favorite rescues, Resilient Dog Rescue, who had to cancel all of their in-person events for the remainder of the year. I had recently found out about the Tails of the World Collective, a group of photographers self-publishing coffee table books highlighting pets in their local areas. I decided to join in, and Tails of Sacramento was born.

51 dogs, $2,100, and 160 pages later, the project is quickly coming to a close. And with it, the window to pre-order books at a discounted price. Yep, you read that right. Pre-orders for Tails of Sacramento close Wednesday, March 31. You can order your book here and automatically receive $25 off the retail price. Starting April 1, the price will go up to $100. Once the price increases, I will also only have a limited number of copies for sale - so make sure you don't miss out!

Here's a sneak peek of a few of the awesome pups featured in Tails of Sacramento.
