This week's blog circle theme is Red. When I realized how perfectly this lined up with my last holiday session of the year, you couldn't believe my excitement!
Lacey came to me with her two new pups, Stella and Stanley, as a last-minute add to my holiday schedule. She and her husband adopted their pups just a month ago, and were hopeful to have photos done for Christmas cards this year. During our Design Consultation, Lacey mentioned that she had matching sweaters for herself, her husband, and her pups - and guess what color they were! Red, duh! I don't normally encourage my clients to be matchy-matchy for their sessions, but I definitely make an exception for Christmas cards.
We ended up shooting at the Capital Village Green Park in Rancho Cordova in front of the Christmas tree. Check out how cute this family is!

Despite being a Bantam Session (30 minutes instead of my normal hour), we had a blast! Being new to the family, Stella and Stanley haven't quite learned their names yet, which made for some comical moments of everyone calling out to the pups, trying to find something to get their attention. There were plenty of new dogs friends for them to meet out at the park, as well, adding even more distraction. It was all worth it, though. Stella and Stanley are a pair of super adorable pups, and they have made their mama incredibly happy.

It may be too late to get holiday photos done for this year, but it's never too early to start thinking about photos for next year. Book your session for 2021 now!
