What if my dog can't go off leash?
It's not a problem! Most of the dogs I photograph remain on leash throughout the session for their safety. I even have a long line leash that can be used for getting action shots. Leashes will be removed during post-processing.
Where do sessions take place?
I serve pet parents from Sacramento to Tahoe. During your consultation we'll talk about what types of images you'd like to create and what artwork will look best in your home in order to select a location that will be perfect for your session.
I have a whole list of locations I love to use regularly, but am always open to new places if you and your pup have a favorite park or hiking trail, or even your home if your pup is older or more comfortable there.
How much should I expect to invest?
Your investment is completely up to you! Artwork is purchased separately and there are no minimum requirements so you'll only purchase what you love. Also keep in mind that your session retainer includes a $500 artwork credit to spend on your portraits.
With that said, most clients invest anywhere from $1,000 to $10,000 on their artwork. We'll spend time during your consultation discussing pricing and what types of artwork you're looking to create so you'll have a better idea of what your individual investment might look like going into your session.
Do you sell digital files?
My goal is to help you create stunning finished artwork from your session so I don't sell digital files separately. Don't worry, though - you'll receive a complimentary digital file of each portrait purchased so you can post them on social media, set them as your phone and computer backgrounds, and share them to your heart's content!
Do you photograph all year round?
Absolutely! Each season provides beautiful, unique backgrounds for your pet. We are fortunate to live in a location with limited inclement weather. In the case of impending rain or sweltering summer temperatures, I will do my best to reschedule around the weather, and I will stay in touch with you every step of the way.
Do you photograph pets other than dogs?
I sure do! While most of my clients have dogs, I also love photographing cats, horses, farm animals, and really any other part of your furry, feathery, or scaley family. I would even be open to photographing the odd tarantula.
