Callings dogs from sacramento to tahoe!

Are you the proud parent of a rockstar dog? I'm looking for 10 amazing pups to feature in the Tails of the World v.2 book!

Tails of the World is a collaborative project from pet photographers all around the globe. We are united to help raise funds for pet rescue and spread joy with beautiful photography and heartwarming stories. With gorgeous photos submitted from international pet photographers and artists, this book celebrates each unique location and the dogs who live there.

How does it work?

Pet parents interested in having their pup featured in the book should fill out an application here to be considered for the project. The 10 dogs who are selected from the applicants will pay a $100 registration fee, which will be donated to our charity partner to help their life-saving efforts. Each participant will receive a 20-minute pet portrait session with Kylee Doyle Photography and one image in the Tails of the World v.2 book.

Who does the fundraiser support?

The session registration fees will go to T.E.A.M. (Teaching Everyone Animals Matter), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization formed to help Bradshaw Animal Shelter of Sacramento County improve the health, well-being, and adoption prospects of the county’s shelter animals.

100% of proceeds from the sales of the book will be donated to Second Chance Animal Rescue, Inc.

THE COST

The cost for each dog is $100, with proceeds going to T.E.A.M., to help them with their mission of supporting our local animals in need.

WHEN AND WHERE WILL THE SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?

The sessions will take place May and June 2023 in pre-selected locations from Sacramento to Tahoe.

How to participate

Simply fill out the application. Each applicant will be invited to participate in an info call with me to determine their dog's suitability for the project and their availability.

Each of the 10 dogs selected will receive a 20-minute pet portrait session with Kylee Doyle Photography and one image in the Tails of the World v.2 book.

T.E.A.M. Bradshaw

T.E.A.M. is the non-profit affiliate of the Sacramento County Bradshaw Animal Shelter. They work with volunteers and shelter staff to help the shelter animals in our community.

Included with every session is a personalized online consultation to plan out your session. We'll talk about everything from how to prep for your session to what types of artwork you might like to create with the images I capture.

step 3 - shoot

This is the fun part! We'll spend approximately 20 minutes photographing your dog being themselves and having a blast!

FAQ

Want to extend your session?

For only $150 more, you can upgrade your Tails of the World session to a full 60-minute session and receive $250 artwork credit.

Are prints included in my session fee?

All prints and products (including the Tails of the World book) are sold separately.

Can I bring extra dogs to our session?

In order to create a positive and calm environment for our session, please don't bring any dogs that are not included in your registration. If you have multiple dogs you want to participate, please submit a separate application for each dog.

What if my dog can't go off leash?

It's not a problem! Most of the dogs I photograph remain on leash throughout the session for their safety. I even have a long line leash that can be used for getting action shots. Leashes will be removed during post processing.
